Rosot Carbon in Homegarden Floristic Structure in Pasirbiru Village, Rancakalong, West Java

The research explored the reserved of carbon in home garden floristic structure in Pasirbiru Village, Rancakalong sub village, District of Sumedang – West Java. The purpose of the research was to determine the quantity of deposited C and the influence of floristic structure of whice it is composed by using descriptive analitycal method and then to conduct an analysis of deposited carbon in plant biomass with RACSA method. From the result of average C rosot of 32,02 Mg C/ha for homegarden floristic structure, a total amount of 26.207 individuals, 209 strains, and 73 family compositions were obtained, with an average wide of 232,37 m2. The average values of Shannon-Wiener diversity (Ĥ) and Pielou similarity (E) were 39,68 Mg C/Ha, the floristic of small homegarden (n = 25), was composed of 159 strains 6.281 individuals, average wide of 86,8 m2. The average values of Ĥ and E were 1,83 and 0,34 respectively. Rosot carbon for the category of moderate wide was 41 Mg C/Ha, the floristic structure of moderate homegarden (n = 27) was composed of 171 strains, 7.131 individuals, average wide of 153,52 m2. The average value of Ĥ was 2,52 and average value of E was 0,47. Moreover, rosot carbon for the category of large wide was 17,56 Mg C/Ha, the floristic structure of large homegarden (n = 30) was composed of 157 strains, 12.795 individuals, average wide of 425 m2. The average value of Ĥ and E were 2,94 and 0,54 respectively.
