Abstract
The research potential of traditional courtyard in the process of carbon storage has been done by using stored carbon measurement method developed by an international network of Alternatives to Slash and Burn (ASB). The results showed that the potential for carbon sequestration in 5 locations of the yard is 48.24 Mg/ha, 44.26 Mg/ha, 26.90 Mg/ha, 28.55 Mg/ha, and 24.95 Mg/ha. Total absorption of carbon is of 172.90 Mg/ha. While other variables such as carbon reserves in tree carbon stocks following 3.7 Mg/ha (pek.1), 51.4 Mg/ha (pek.2), 24.09 Mg/ha (pek.3), 27, 84 Mg/ha (pek.4), and 20.16 Mg/ha (pek.5); reserve carbon in plants under the following 9.35 Mg/ha (pek.1), 9.62 Mg/ha (pek .2), 14.55 Mg/ha (pek.3), 15.04 Mg/ha (pek.4), and 13.84 Mg/ha (pek.5); nekromasa carbon reserves in woody as follows 86, 91 Mg/ha (pek.1), 26.97 Mg/ha (pek.2), 9.13 Mg/ha (pek.3), 4.26 Mg/ha (pek.4), and 11.12 Mg/ha (pek.5); seresah carbon stocks in the following rough 4.67 Mg/ha (pek.1), 7.89 Mg/ha (pek.2), 9.52 Mg/ha (pek.3) , 12.80 Mg/ha (pek.4), and 8.75 Mg/ha (pek.5); seresah carbon stocks in the following fine 0.25 Mg/ha (pek.1), 0.33 Mg/ha (pek.2), 1.19 Mg/ha (pek.3), 2.13 Mg/ha (pek.4), and 0.37 Mg/ha (pek.5).
